As the Global IT Senior Director, Technical Area Lead (TAL), you will lead a global product engineering team responsible for Windows and Mac laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops, peripherals, productivity software, digital experience monitoring, and printing services. You own the product vision, technical roadmap, and continuous innovation while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology & Strategy Leadership
Define and execute the engineering roadmap for laptops, mobile devices, and print services.Establish and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business needs.Evaluate emerging trends to drive innovation in End User Computing.Ensure adherence to technology standards while fostering technological health.Operational & Service Management
Own the Laptop, Mobile, and Printing platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.Optimize laptop performance for a seamless user experience.Establish proactive monitoring and KPIs for platform health.Manage platform objectives, including Demand Management, Quality Assurance, Release Management / Design Authority, and Change Management.Collaborate with IT Operations for 24/7 service availability and SLA compliance.People & Vendor Management
Mentor and support technical experts, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.Manage vendor relationships for staff augmentation, service delivery, and product development.Drive governance efforts, chair platform health reviews, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.What You'll Bring
