What You'll Do

The IT Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team is seeking a Cloud Network Security Engineer. The individual in this role will be part of the team responsible for BCG's Cloud Strategy with a focus on the implementation and operations to ensure that the customers and end users are able to use Cloud that is scalable, secure and provides the features that meet BCG's business needs. The role will have a focus on Cloud Network Security with the need to define improvement areas for Automation and Security in a multi-Cloud hybrid environment. The role will require working with several teams to help define and implement strong governance for Infrastructure, Networking and Security. 

The ideal candidate will be working across several areas in BCG to advise and guide teams on Cloud Best Practices and with a strong focus on Network Security Best Practices. 

You will have strong Cloud Network Security skills and have a deep understanding of Cloud Networking topology and services and will have strong knowledge of how to define and implement Cloud Security policies for Networking and Infrastructure. The candidate will have maintained large scale solutions on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure with a strong understanding for the business requirements. The candidate should be able to show expertise in all facets of design and implementation, such as Identity, Networking, Scaling, Security, and Operational requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication

 

What You'll Bring

Cloud Firewalls – Web Application and Network, Palo-Alto Firewalls, SDWAN, AWS and Azure Networking (VPC, VNET, Transit Gateway)AWS/Azure WAF, AWS/Azure LoadBalancers, Container / Kubernetes Networking conceptsStrong Knowledge in principles of Cloud Computing (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure)Strong Cloud Networking skills with the ability to design and implement complex Cloud NetworksStrong understanding of Cloud Security and how to ensure Security/Zero Trust is built into CloudStrong skills with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and Azure ARMHas strong practical experience with DevOps tools and methods, like CI/CD, Git, GitActions, IaC(Terraform)Knowledge of Linux and Windows systemsWorking as part of an Agile Team (Squad)Good understanding of using Jira for tracking workStrong oral and written communication skillsHigh level of initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, collaboration, and patienceAbility to successfully and effectively manage multiple projects and deliverablesAbility to build trust and work collaboratively with senior leadership and stakeholdersStrong customer orientation towards internal customersAbility to successfully implement change through relationships built on a local, regional and global levelMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant experience/certifications5 Years Experience in Cloud network / Infrastructure
