Global Jeep PR & Communications Manager

This position will support a fully integrated PR and communications plan that builds, promotes and protects the Jeep brand both in the US and globally, across regions including China, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East.

 

The role spans management and operations responsibilities for both internal and external communications activities and programs related to the Jeep brand. This position will help drive brand messaging and communications strategies forward, while also managing the reputation of the brand with external audiences including media, analysts and dealers. With a significant focus on public and media relations, as well as event activation and management, this position plays a fundamental part in the promoting the brand’s innovations and technologies, relationship with the Jeep community, and vision for the future of the brand and future of mobility.

 

The work of a successful Global PR & Communications Manger for the Jeep brand will bridge teams and time zones to coalesce global Jeep brand communications and marketing efforts ensuring consistency of voice and quality of communications.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or higher Coordinate all Jeep communications at central level, and manage communication activity across regions and markets globally Manage spokespeople requests as well as briefing documents for upcoming executive interviews Administer vehicle loan requests for media and influencers Act as a key representative of the Global Communications and Marketing team participating in domestic and international staff and product launch meetings, as needed Organize large-scale brand events (internal and external) including reveals, test drives, media roundtables, webinars, brand immersion days – working directly with suppliers and agencies to do so Write, review and edit brand and CEO social posts to ensure accuracy, consistency and editorial alignment Outreach and interface with automotive, tech and lifestyle media about the Jeep brand and Jeep vehicles Manage information and asset exchange with global and regional PR Managers in support of business objectives, product PR plans, in-market challenges and opportunities relating to product or the brand Align global communications calendars of product launches, brand announcements and key personnel announcements Ensure prompt and effective distribution of Brand / Product / Corporate / Marketing news or other statements to all markets for global alignment and translation Manage global daily media coverage reporting along with requisite agency management Own the PR & Comms budget for the Jeep brand, working closely with finance on monthly forecasts, cross-regional reporting, invoicing and yearly budgeting exercises Manage various dashboards, data and analytics tools, and industry measurement tools to support consistent communications efforts while uncovering new communications avenues Aid in other administrative and communication duties as assigned by the office of the CEO EOE / Disability / Veteran
