JOB SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Global Logistics Manager to be responsible for overseeing the logistics of our company's transportation-related activities. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for oversight of transportation operations including global ocean/air and North America parcel/LTL and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and safety rules are followed. YOU ARE An Experienced Logistics Leader . You will drive excellence in global logistics operations by overseeing ocean, air, and North America Parcel/LTL shipments while ensuring compliance with international regulations, safety standards, and union contracts. Achieve cost, productivity, and timeliness goals through proactive safety audits, operational oversight, and performance optimization. A Collaborative Business Partner . You will build and maintain strategic relationships with shipping lines, ports, and customers to drive seamless transportation operations. Lead carrier selection, negotiate contracts and rates, and manage provider performance through scorecards and KPIs to ensure optimal service and cost efficiency. A Passion for Strategy and Continuous Improvement . Design and execute strategies to enhance service levels, optimize costs, and drive operational efficiency. Leverage performance data, industry trends, and regulatory updates to implement continuous improvements and maintain a competitive edge in global logistics. Focused on the Customer . You will lead efforts to resolve customer and shipper issues by conducting thorough investigations and implementing effective solutions. Partner with teams to develop transportation procedures, align budget goals, and deliver exceptional customer service outcomes. REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS + An experienced logistics leader with 5+ years of success managing global logistics in multinational organizations, particularly in the consumer goods industry. + Proficient in shipping management technologies, electronic data systems, and Microsoft products, with strong time management skills. + Knowledgeable about air, ground, and ocean logistics, union contracts, and transportation-related government regulations. + A skilled communicator and negotiator, adept at collaborating across diverse stakeholders, geographies, and cultural contexts. + Analytical and creative, with a proven ability to solve complex problems, manage conflict constructively, and adapt to multiple time zones.
