Global Marketing Assistant Manager, Calvin Klein **GLOBAL MARKETING, ASSISTANT MANAGER** **CALVIN KLEIN FRAGRANCES – NEW YORK** **COTY is looking for smart leaders who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind.** _We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Marketing Assistant Manager to join the Calvin Klein Fragrances team. This person should demonstrate a strong passion and knowledge of the category and the US and global market. This person’s will be leading short- and long-term new product launches. From insight analysis to product concepting, new product formulation, development, communication and 360 launch campaigns._ **THE ROLE** **In this role you will be responsible for:** + **Identify new product concepts based on market trends, consumer trends, consumer insights, category dynamics and competitive activity.** + **Proactively initiate and manage programs, driving deadlines and marketing deliverables in all aspects of new global program development, from concept and formulation to program kickoff, to final program and campaign delivery, on time and within COGs guidelines and budget.** + **Manage day-to-day communication/development with all cross functional teams including R&D, IL, LCM, Packaging, Artwork, Creative, influencer/PR, Digital, Trade, Merchandising, Finance, Legal and Production to ensure timetable/milestone adherence. Includes leading all briefing meetings to kick-off program development, tracking key milestones in weekly cross-functional meetings, submitting, and updating necessary briefs and cost feasibilities, requesting and tracking codes and forecasts, and reviewing product artwork mechanicals.** + **Licensor Management: Manage the day-to-day relationships, including presentations, reporting and creative approvals.** + **Stay abreast of global competitive activity and trends, conduct competitive analysis, assess new competitive product launches, and create presentation materials as needed.** + **Analyze competitive data (Rankings/Market Share, product mix, retail pricing, top selling promotions) and leverage it as a powerful tool in seasonal planning and as needed.** + **Drive creation of internal presentations (i.e. Global Marketing Meeting, Strategic Plan, Budget Reviews, etc.)** **QUALIFICATIONS** We’d love to see candidates who have: **_Essential:_** + **_4 year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Related Field. (MBA is a bonus)_** + **_Min 2-3 year experience in fragrance marketing and development or other beauty product development_** + **_Must be a self-starter, professionally mature, accountable, resourceful, organized and highly detail-oriented with accurate work output_** + **_Must understand brand DNAs and know how to translate fashion codes into relevant and powerful fragrance concepts._** + **_Experience working with R&D and leading creative projects end-end in partnership with cross functional teams._** + **_Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams_** + **_Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)_** **_Desirable:_** + **_Experience working with a license-brand_** + **_Must easily adapt to change and be proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions._** + **_Must be passionate about Beauty and the opportunity to bring a sense of everyday luxury and well-being to consumers via Scenting._** **WHAT WE OFFER** This is unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
