**Global Medical Affairs Intern**
The summer intern provides an opportunity for an undergraduate student wishing to gain invaluable pharmaceutical industry experience within the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Oncology publication team. The candidate will be working closely with cross-functional business partners across the oncology franchise, including GMA functions such as Medical Leads, Scientific Communications, Patient & Customer Engagement, and Global Medical Inquiries. In addition, the candidate will be expected to liaise with various teams to support operational workstreams and patient-centric initiatives within Global Medical Affairs Oncology Publications team.
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The primary responsibilities of this role, Summer Intern, Global Medical Affairs publications are to:
+ Support various operational workstreams and development of publication-related communications
+ Assist with patient-focused publications
+ Assist with updating and maintaining several Medical Affairs digital platforms such as websites (internal and external) and social media channels
+ Establish professional relationships with relevant internal cross-functional stakeholders including global/regional teams and agencies
**WHO YOU ARE**
Required Qualifications:
+ Undergraduate student pursuing degrees in life science or social science
+ Ability to quickly learn a new scientific discipline or concept
+ Ability to work and engage effectively within a team environment
+ Strong written and oral communications skills
