About this team

The Merchandising team creates and executes transformative global product strategies that ensure we have the right strategy and assortment to fulfill our guests’ unmet needs to deepen our guest relationships, grow our brand and deliver on our long-term enterprise goals. We possess deep awareness and intuition of the consumer, competitor, global marketplace dynamics and guest needs and use this knowledge to develop long-term product strategies and roadmaps, and manage seasonal product line plans to maximize guest demand. 

 

A day in the life:  

Supports global footwear strategies to ensure guests’ unmet needs are fulfilled, through identification of market opportunities, guest/consumer insights, and competitor data Execute short and long-term product strategies and roadmaps, prioritizing financial plans, GTM timelines, Be Planet metrics and various other key success metricsPartner with key stakeholders across apparel, brand, channel, planning and supply chain to ensure strategy executionIntentionally communicate with downstream partners, aligning with specific milestones during the creation process, own and drive product briefing for packaging, naming and product educationCreate key seasonal footwear stories that align with enterprise global momentsBuild and maintain long-term key product franchises through lifecycle and model update strategiesGather and identify insights and unmet needs that drive roadmap strategies and product briefs Create global line and seasonal assortments that meet the needs of regional teamsLead regional connects to understand information on category performance and marketplace feedbackLead mainline GTM process including tool creation, communication and partnership with regional teamsDrive management of product line in partnership with creation triad teams

 

Qualifications: 

4-6 years minimum industry experience is required

Compensation and Benefits Package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $91,400-$120,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
