Global Motion Support Manager for Europe, Motion Services division

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers ensuring timely and cost-effective support in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybridThe role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Offices in Europe with a preference for Finland or Poland.You will be accountable for:Lead a team of product experts, located in different countries, that supports ABB Motion Smart Solution focusing on helping the customer, improving processes, and collaboration with customers, other support teams also with Product Management and R&D. Monitor and support all the assets (Motors and Drives) connected to cloud via different interfaces and gateways and also IoT devices (such as Smart Sensors, NETA-21, Cassia Gateway, IoT Panel).Monitor and support digital products such as Portals (Power Train portal, Mobile Connect, Condition Monitoring for Drives, Smart Sensor portal, Gateway portal, IoT panel portal etc.), customer assets for Drives and Motors and different expert reports for Drives and Motors.Constantly collaborate and cooperate with Drive and Motor experts inside Global Motion Support team.Conduct regular technical meetings with factories to get to know people and processes as well as provide feedback on product and process issues.Be responsible for know-how accumulation by writing FAQ for common issues .Actively support global motion support center and local ABB to gain skills and know-how, for example by holding presentations during Service Expert Days.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering field3-5 years’ experience as service specialistKnowledge of Service offering and ABB health&safety operating proceduresAble to communicate effectively with customers and within ABB, including good English skillsCustomer focused attitudeAble to be flexible and work in a team environment Quick learner, to recognize re-occurring fault patterns, thinking and acting systemicallyTechnical know-how of ethernet network and LANs would be an advantageTechnical know-how of Motors or/and Drives would be an advantageTechnical know-how of ABB Motion Smart Solution products and offerings would be an advantage
