Global Operations, Senior Project Leader 

Dual Sourcing; Senior Manager

Overview:

The Global Operations, Senior Project Leader will report to the Global Operations Strategy Executive.  This position is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Dual Sourcing project across Tektronix. The Dual Sourcing project is critical to maintain and evolve the manufacturing and supply chain resiliency/business continuity strategies.  This role will be instrumental in developing the strategy, project structure, and culture of our organization to carryout key actions and objectives. 

 

Responsibilities:

Manage a mix of full-time employees and contractors to deliver product transitions on time. Manage and influence stakeholders, including business, product, operations and development team members on solution delivery and scope. Manage global based programs for schedule, budget, and scope. Be the escalation point and resolve conflicts with resources by interfacing with key leaders. Create a positive environment including open, honest communication and a clear path to escalate risks and issues. Focus on team engagement and create a diverse and inclusive work environment. Quickly prioritizes the critical few and assigns work appropriately. Leads, energizes, and engages individuals to achieve personal development and business goals. Coaches and rewards behaviors and actions that drive continuous improvement and accountability. Promotes collaboration within and between functions and facilitates resolution of conflicts quickly. Use data and sound judgment in decision making; can change course of action as needed. Use rigorous problem solving and root cause analysis to solve difficult or complex problems. Demonstrates managerial courage and provides constructive feedback.

 

Qualifications:

6-8+ yrs. of progressive management experience required. Cross functional leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement.  Experience in PCBA manufacturing and managing >$10M operating budgets is highly desired. BS Degree in technical, engineering or management field required. Master’s degree in business or technical field desired Excellent communication skills demonstrated change management, crisis resolution. Data and Fact-Based problem-solving skills, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge desired Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail. Strong written, verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office products: Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
