The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Clerk to join our Los Angeles office. The successful candidate will support the Facilities Supervisor in managing daily operations, including event support, storage management, deliveries, moves, and preparations for large-scale office relocations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in facilities management within a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Storage Management:

Organize and maintain office storage areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and easily accessible.Conduct regular inventory checks and update records accordingly.Coordinate with various departments to manage storage needs and space allocation.

Deliveries and Moves:

Receive and distribute deliveries, ensuring items are delivered to the appropriate departments or individuals.Assist with internal office moves, including the physical relocation of furniture and equipment.Manage the logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Large-Scale Office Relocations:

Support the Facilities Supervisor in planning and executing large-scale office relocations.Prepare detailed plans and schedules for relocations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Coordinate with movers, IT, and other departments to ensure a smooth transition.

General Support:

Respond to facilities-related inquiries and issues from employees promptly.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Support screenings/events as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in facilities management, event support, or related field preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).Environment: Office setting with occasional exposure to warehouse and outdoor environments.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Location

M-F onsite at our Los Angeles office, with occasional evening or weekend work required to support events or relocations.

Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-$23.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
