Job Title: Global Payroll Analyst
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Analyst to assist with both US and international payroll processing, including expansions in the UK, DE, AU, JP, BG, and CR. The ideal candidate will help with the registration for new State/SUI/Local payroll tax and integrate these jurisdictions into Workday. You will be responsible for administering Workday Time & Attendance, processing timesheets for U.S. hourly and salaried non-exempt employees, and working with third-party vendors to manage payroll-related cases.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with US and International payroll processing and international expansions as needed.Register new State/SUI/Local payroll taxes and integrate them into Workday.Administer Workday Time & Attendance and process timesheets for U.S. hourly and salaried non-exempt employees.Work with third-party vendors (OSV & Cloudpay) to create payroll cases related to tax notices and balances due.Assist with external and global audits by providing supporting records and documentation.Directly assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions or issues.Research payroll issues independently, demonstrating high analytical ability and knowledge of best practices.Support system integrations between HR and Global Payroll Systems and resolve missing information before sending it to payroll vendors.Maintain sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of integrity and privacy.Work closely with People Ops, Benefits, Compensation, Stock, and Accounting teams to document payroll changes and processes.Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.Participate in special projects or ad hoc analyses as assigned.Essential Skills5-7 years of direct payroll experience processing multi-state U.S. payroll.Solid understanding of local, state, and federal payroll and tax laws.Experience and familiarity with international payroll (EMEA, APAC) is a plus.Proficiency with payroll systems such as Fidelity, CloudPay, OSV Atmosphere or equivalent systems.Basic knowledge of stock-payroll transactions and queries related to ESPP, ISOs, NQs, and RSUs.Effective interpersonal skills to interact with individuals inside and outside the organization.Direct, approachable, and clear written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and handle tasks under pressure.Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office (Vlookups and Pivot tables) and Google Sheets.Basic understanding of accounting, taxation, and finance concepts related to payroll.Adaptable to a fast-changing work environment and capable of working well under stress and tight deadlines.Knowledge and mindset for automation and improvements to streamline processes for scalability.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Workday is a plus.Flexibility in handling workload fluctuations and multiple requests.Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and the ability to work well under stress and tight deadlines. You will use advanced Microsoft Office tools and Google Sheets, and work closely with various teams including People Ops, Benefits, Compensation, Stock, and Accounting. Maintaining confidentiality and integrity is paramount. Flexibility in workload management and a mindset for process improvement are essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
