Global Pricing Specialist
The Global Pricing Specialist located in Marshalltown, IA will collaborate with Global Industry Sales, Product Business Units, Operations and other Global Flow Control world area business units. This position will develop pricing strategies and coordinate the process for special pricing request for all Flow Control Products. This includes products from the sliding stem business, rotary business, instrument business and engineered products business. Parts pricing is not part of this position. **Relocation assistance provided for selected out of state candidate.** **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Define special product pricing and structure to help support business unit sales initiatives + Coordinates special product pricing with large projects as well as day to day pricing requests that have unique requirements; record all quotations into relational database + Review customer specifications for special processing pricing, certification or product configuration pricing and evaluate the ability of Flow Controls to deliver a product + Basic control valve knowledge + Calculate Product Standard Cost (PSC), and works with sales teams to build a new list or net price based on market conditions **Who You Are:** + Effective technical communication and documentation + Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills + Good spoken and written English language communication skills + Planning and organizing skills + Contributing in a team environment **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor or Associate degree in a technical discipline + 5 years experience in pricing or quoting technical products; control valve expertise will be considered in lieu of experience + An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered + Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Demonstrated marketing experience with pricing or technical skills with process control equipment + Proven organizational and interpersonal skills (including verbal and written) required + Skills for understanding and processing technical/mechanical data required + Analytical skills for planning and implementing change to the pricing models if needed + Ability to read product drawings/dimensional prints and visualization skills strongly preferred + Able to independently prioritize work **Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option:** This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week.
