What You'll Do
We are seeking a Global Product Director to enable our Platform Engineering team to provide secure solutions that power BCG’s business.
As a Global Product Director at BCG, you will lead and manage a variety of strategic projects across portfolios, collaborating with stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Your role will be to drive the project’s success by ensuring that it stays on track, is delivered on time, within scope, and meets the highest quality standards. You will work on complex challenges, provide leadership, and contribute to both internal and client-facing initiatives.
You will provide:
Project Planning and Execution:
Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycles from initiation to delivery, including scoping, planning, execution, and closure.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.Oversee the execution of tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key project stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.Facilitate ongoing communication with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned and regularly updated.Proactively manage relationships with internal teams and clients to ensure a smooth and successful project outcome.Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead and coordinate project teams, consisting of analysts, and other relevant stakeholders.Ensure effective collaboration and foster a high-performance team culture, facilitating communication and problem-solving.Manage team resources, ensuring that work is properly delegated and aligned with team members skills and project needs.Risk and Issue Management:
Identify and address potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring prompt mitigation actions are taken.Develop contingency plans and adjust project strategies to minimize disruptions and impact.Escalate major project challenges to senior leadership and propose solutions.Quality Control and Delivery:
Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.Conduct quality reviews, ensuring all project outputs are accurate, clear, and actionable.Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, risk assessments, and budget trackers.Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management, outlining progress, risks, and key insights.Ensure accurate and timely documentation of project milestones, decisions, and actions.Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing:
Contribute to BCG’s knowledge base by sharing best practices, insights, and lessons learned from projects.Collaborate with other Project Managers and leadership to improve processes and tools to enhance project delivery efficiency.What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred.At least 10 years of experience in project management, or related fields.Strong project management experience preferably in an Infrastructure environment.Proven record of accomplishment of managing complex, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.Who You'll Work With
