Product Line Performance, Planning and Strategy
+ Responsible for theglobal product linesand to champion cross-functional activities to maximize overall product line performance including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and delivery.
+ Develop and direct the implementation of product line strategies for growth. Develop cross-functional strategies in pricing, integrated supply chain, digital, and marketing to support growth goals. Coordinate necessary activities.
+ Provide strategic direction for innovative growth opportunities that leverage technology trends (e.g. connectivity), market trends, and integrated solutions.
Product Life Cycle Management
+ Leadcross-functional new product development efforts.Coordinate with Engineering and Marketing teamsfor the development and commercialization of needs based innovations.
+ Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC)research to identify market requirements and trends, drive continuous improvements and to identify product enhancements opportunities. Ensures assigned products are responsive to market needs to maintain and/or improve market penetration and share position.
+ Responsible for building product funnels and roadmaps. Lead competitive deep dives/benchmarking. Collaborate and assist regional product managers to develop region specific funnels and roadmaps.
+ Partner with associate product manager, market manager, and demand managerto make strategic inventory and E&O decisions.
+ Collaborate with integrated supply chain to address areas of availability while developing strategies to improve
Commercial Champion:
+ Serve as subject matter expert for assigned products to support internal team, field sales, distributors and end customers as required. Develops tools to influence buying decisions
+ Deliver training in person and virtually to both internal and external sales teams
+ Be proficient with training contractors in office and jobsite settings.
**Y** **ou have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree required – Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) or Business
+ Desire to lead and inspire product line growth withexperience in a manufacturing environment is required
+ Demonstrated experience interacting and/or supporting both internal cross-functional and external customers in a manufacturing environment is required.
+ Hands-on experience working with various customer types (end-users, contractors, engineers/specifiers) and various sales channels (direct, installers, distribution) is required
+ Product Management or commercial related product experience in the industrial/mechanical/electrical space is preferred.
+ Knowledge of the surge protection and/or lightning protection industry and standards ispreferred.
+ 25% travel, predominantly domestic
