Commercial coordinates with Manufacturing and Technology to develop optimal sales and operating plans, grow our asset capabilities and plan for the future. They identify and evaluate business opportunities, execute the supply chain, build customer and supplier relationships and work to continuously improve our offerings to provide increased value for our customers and shareholders. Responsible for the global profit optimization of Normal Alpha Olefins (NAO) Heavy products associated with the manufacture and sale of NAO products from our Cedar Bayou facility. Position includes the strategic and tactical planning consistent with the worldwide NAO growth plans. The position will also be responsible for business development of opportunities globally for all NAO fractions. **Responsibilities** + Visible safety & ICARE leadership + Develop marketing and pricing strategies for NAO Heavy products + Lead annual contracting strategy for NAO Heavy products and development of sales plan + Support contract development and negotiations + Maintain contact with customers in coordination with the sales team via sales visits and calls + Monitor sales and inventory levels of NAO Heavy products + Lead Communication Meeting with Cedar Bayou Operations, NAO Supply Chain and support teams + Lead monthly Demand and Consensus Meeting with NAO Sales group for responsible fractions + Perform monthly price and volume model review in support of net income forecasting process + Support analysis and modeling of supply & demand fundamentals of NAO Heavy products + Support wax quality improvement efforts **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Science related field required + Minimum of 5 years industry experience required + Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office with high level of proficiency with the use of Excel + Excellent communication skills (oral and written) + Strong problem-solving skills + A high capability for self-management/self-initiative + Excellent teamwork and communications skills **Preferred Qualifications** + NAO/PE/PAO business knowledge and experience + Sales/Commercial experience + Pricing strategy development and deployment + Strong business acumen + Experience in SAP, PowerBI, Vendavo, and transaction processes Chevron Phillips Chemical offers competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and at most locations, alternate work schedules.
