Your role and responsibilitiesTo be successful as the Global Product Manager for Pulp and Paper Automation, you will manage the offerings throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring they align with market needs and the division’s strategy. You will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the offering, contributing to business results by overseeing every step of the offering lifecycle, including development, launch, go-to-market, pricing, and profitability.You will develop product strategies and roadmaps based on market trends and competitive analysis. By identifying market needs and trends, you will craft business cases for new product development. Additionally, you will oversee the entire product development process, ensuring that it is aligned with strategic goals and deadlines, collaborating with research and development teams to design and refine products.A key part of your role will be understanding and maintaining a deep awareness of the global market and customer needs, ensuring you are actively engaged in the Product Development Process (PDP). You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure successful product development and launches. This includes driving communication and collaboration with Customer Centers and key accounts.You will also be responsible for planning and executing successful product launches, working alongside marketing teams to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional materials. You will create and share marketing materials about the business segment, covering products, application references, competition, and more, ensuring content is promoted across digital channels.Once products are launched, you will manage and track performance to evaluate success and ROI. You will continually analyze product performance, adjusting product strategies as needed to improve outcomes. Additionally, you will develop and perform training, seminars, and workshops to enhance the knowledge and competence of the organization.Finally, ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards will be essential to guarantee that all products meet required standards and maintain the highest level of quality.The work model is hybrid, #LiHybrid
Qualifications for the roleTo succeed in this role, you will bring a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, along with 10-15 years of experience, including 3-5 years in product management. International experience is preferred. You will have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, which will be critical in collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.Your expertise in Pulp and Paper Controls, including knowledge of products, applications, and solutions, will be key to your success. A deep understanding of 800xA products and legacy control systems will be an advantage. Additionally, you should have the ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends, using this insight to drive product development and innovation.Leadership experience in sales, engineering, and project management, along with strong organizational skills, is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess well-developed communication, influencing, coaching, and leadership skills to successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide product strategy.
