We are looking for a Global Project Portfolio Manager to join our Internal Manufacturing PMO & Risk Management team, based at our UCB campus in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium, or at UCB site in Bulle, Switzerland.

 

About the role

You manage project portfolios and assist in the development and improvement of portfolio management business processes within the Internal Manufacturing organization. You will focus on project management, collaborating with Heads of Internal Manufacturing to determine actions, prioritize investments, and define timings and budgets. You will propose the portfolio to Internal Manufacturing management, coach project leaders, and work closely with the finance and engineering teams.

What you will do

Project Portfolio Management:Construct and maintain IM portfolios in collaboration with department heads and other stakeholders.Ensure compliance with policies and governance for project management.Assist in building and consolidating the IM 10-Year investment plan and budgets.Promote a safe, lean, quality, and green mindset across departments and projects.PMO Business Process Management:Assist in developing, implementing, and improving IM PMO business processes.Train and coach project leaders and sponsors on IM project governance.Continuously improve project governance, tools, and processes.Safety and Green Initiatives:Comply with safety rules and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Support initiatives aimed at creating a safer and greener working environment.Quality & Compliance:Ensure compliance with UCB policies and procedures.Monitor compliance and business risks, and implement action plans as needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the UCB Project Portfolio Management System.Reporting and Communication:Report monthly on project status, risks, resource allocation, and budget performance.Facilitate Department Project Review Boards and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.Communicate results and achievements within and outside the IM organization.

 

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Master's degree in engineering, supply chain management or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience.Prince 2 or a PMI certification is a plusExceptional communication and organizational skills.Knowledge of Integrate (Planisware) or other project management tools is a plus.
