Global Learning Partner- Quality and Food Safety
Position Overview: The Global Learning Partner focused on Quality and Food Safety is responsible for assessing the organization’s training needs, designing and implementing effective training programs, and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
This position reports to the Director - Global Functional Training. It can be based out of any ADM major facility/office (no remote work-option available).
Key Responsibilities:Training Needs Assessment:Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the organization’s quality and food safety training needs.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and feedback on training requirements.Program Design and Development:Design, develop, and implement quality and food safety training programs tailored to the manufacturing environment.Create instructional materials, training manuals, guides, and videos.Ensure training content is up-to-date with current quality and food safety regulations and best practices.Program Implementation:Coordinate and deliver training sessions and workshops.Supervise trainers and other staff involved in the training process.Plan and coordinate training venues, timing, and modalities.Evaluation and Improvement:Establish assessment standards and benchmarks to evaluate the success of training programs.Collect and analyze data to measure training effectiveness and make necessary improvements.Track metrics daily to ensure all departments are running effectively.Compliance and Continuous Improvement:Ensure training programs comply with applicable regulations and standards.Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement in quality and food safety practices.Provide input on quality, safety, or efficiency risks to the manufacturing process.Collaboration and Support:Liaise with departments to manage and assign training programs.Provide support to clients before, during, and after training programs.Serve as a thought leader, mentor, and coach on continuous improvement tools.Serve as a thought leader and advisor in the creation of QFS AcademyMetrics and KPIsTraining Completion Rate: Percentage of employees who complete required quality and food safety training programs.Training Effectiveness: Measured through post-training assessments and feedback surveys.Non-Compliance Reduction: Decrease in the number of quality and food safety non-compliance incidents.Compliance Rate: Adherence to quality and food safety regulations and standards.Employee Engagement: Levels of participation and engagement in training programs.Cost Efficiency: Budget adherence and cost-effectiveness of training programs.Continuous Improvement: Number of implemented improvements and innovations in quality and food safety practices.Must have Experience:
Industry Experience:Extensive experience in the food manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of food safety and quality control processes.GFSI Audit Scheme experience; BRC, SQF and/or FSSC 22,000Hands-on experience with implementing and managing food safety programs.Training Experience:Proven track record of designing and delivering training programs.Experience in conducting training sessions, workshops, and seminars.Regulatory Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, such as FDA, USDA, and international standards.Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Manufacturing environment or a related field.Advanced degrees or specialized training in food safety and quality management are advantageous.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ideal Additional Certifications:HACCP CertificationQuality Management Certifications: ISO 22000, ISO 9001 Certifications and PCQIAdditional Responsibilities:Oversee and participate in the development of training materials.Maintain attendance logs, incident reports, and other necessary records for audit and inspection readinessLead, mentor, counsel, and manage the performance of project staff.Support other teams with projects as directed.Manage staffing needs and ensure ratios are maintained for effective operational performance.Compile and analyze data to help with budget preparation and training priorities ensuring audit and inspection readiness training reports.Stay up-to-date on learning technologies and trends.Relocation Assistance will be available with this position.
