Global Regulatory Affairs - Senior Financial Analyst

The Global Regulatory Affairs Office (GRAO) is responsible for overseeing the enhancement of our risk management and controls, remediation of regulatory and audit findings and the administration of regulatory affairs, including establishing a centralized and sustainable connection point for global regulatory communications, ensuring preparedness for examinations.

This Senior Financial Analyst role reports to the Finance Manager in the GRAO Program Management Office (PMO) that is responsible for day-to-day financial planning and execution of the GRAO strategy. The primary responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst is to manage the financials of large scale, enterprise-wide Programs with multiple projects and work streams. These projects involve delivery of critical strategic enterprise capabilities or regulatory changes that impact multiple business units or disciplines that execute the GRAO strategy.

The role holder will need the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and exercise good judgment in a variety of situations. The Senior Financial Analyst must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting complex change programs, working with diverse, cross-functional teams and facilitating needs from stakeholders across the organization while delivering on financial analysis and reporting to support the overall program.

The key responsibilities of the role may include:

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.Prepare regular reporting to management for review.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support resourcing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Provide analytical support to review specific contractual engagements and tracking versus program milestones.Ability to translate and operationalize project/program target state into solutions.Ability to communicate effectively to ensure there is a clear and concise understanding of expectations.Effectively liaise between cross-functional stakeholders to align around common objectives.Continuously improve and optimize projects towards efficiency, productivity and quality standards.Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities pertaining to the supported projects.Responsible to maintain timely packaging and archival of completed deliverablesDemonstrates flexibility and agility to pivot to new and/or changing program prioritiesPrioritizes and handles multiple projects with accuracyDelivers a work product that requires minimal revisionAble to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

A College or University degree, Finance or Accounting preferredDeep understanding of financial and data analysis, ability to learn new systems, sound understanding of contracts, and ability to react quickly in a dynamic environmentProficient in financial modeling and analytics toolsExpert in MS Excel requiredKnowledge of Power BI and Power Query a bonusAdditional technical skills: Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office 365 suite required (advanced with Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint)Familiarity with project based accounting, forecasting, and reconciliationExcellent oral and written communication skills are requiredSelf-motivated, highly flexible and adaptable to changeAnalytical and problem-solving skills are requiredResults orientedKnowledge of and experience in data aggregation and reporting, or in governance, risk and control technology design and implementationGreat skills across communication, facilitation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, team building, coaching members on practices, framework, ability to teach/train etc.Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across enterprise, lead them towards common objectives and managing upwards and downwards (e.g., experience with acting as a constructive conduit between business and non-business teams)Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills and time management skills.Openness to self-learning, improvement and experimentationA minimum of 5 years serving as a financial analyst or a relevant role
