Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our global regulatory data, systems and hazard communications teams. The Global Regulatory Data, Systems and HazCom Leader will be pivotal in transforming comprehensive regulatory data systems and processes, including regulatory data management for compliance processes, including hazard communication. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to influence and lead complex, cross-functional programs effectively.
Please note Employees work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Regulatory Data Management and HazCom Leadership:
Oversee the collection, management and analyses of regulatory data and processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant chemical control and hazard communication regulations.Develop and implement data management systems to ensure accuracy, accessibility and timely updates of regulatory data.Oversee global HazCom processes, including SDS authoring, label generation, and communication protocols in accordance with GHS standards and local regulations.System Implementation and Maintenance:
Provide strategic oversight and guidance to optimize regulatory data management systems, including harmonization efforts across multiple ERP environments.Implement modern technologies or digital tools to drive transformative process improvements enhancing productivity and providing competitive advantage.Engage External Services Providers (SAP, 3E, etc.) as needed for work that cannot be supported internally.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Influence and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve program goals and drive successful project outcomes.Collaborate closely with product development, manufacturing and sales teams to ensure programs and cycle times meet customer needs.Collaborate with external regulatory content providers to integrate and update regulatory data.Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, mentor and develop a global team of regulatory data and hazard communication professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Develop and execute strategic staffing plans to maintain and build competencies, and capacity to meet business needs.Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Reg Data and HazCom processes.Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or related field of study15+ years of experience in R&D, business, supply chain, product safety, regulatory affairs or related area.Prior experience managing a global teamProven ability to implement strategy, drive risk-based decisions, discipline and process orientation; experience migrating to standard processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders driving practical decisions.Good business acumen and advocate to business stakeholders for the PS&R value and impact to the businesses and the company.Preferred:
