ABOUT THE ROLE
Composed of 6 specialists (2 per channel) in addition to the activation lead, this unit focuses on planning and overseeing the activation of Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic campaigns across 20 European markets plus South Africa. They work in step with dedicated resources at the centralised biddable activation hub (based in Mumbai, India) to execute and optimize biddable media plans aligned with regional and global performance objectives across campaign types. By maintaining expertise across channels and following the playbooks and guidance of Global channel leads, the regional biddable team drives consistency, efficiency, and innovation in media activation.
The Global Search Channel Lead is responsible for managing team resources and supporting with day-to-day account management so that Volvo’s needs are met on time, to budget and to the highest standards of service. You will be responsible for both the strategic development of the account and organization of junior members in your team, which includes an Account Manager, Analysts and Executives. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality of their work and training needs.

Client Relationships
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients Share knowledge, new platforms and industry developmentsLeadership & Management

Be at the forefront of Paid Search by keeping up to date with industry news, new platforms and technologies Assist in the delivery of campaign work when necessary and retain a hands-on role in account management Help in preparation for and attend sales pitches as required Lead and build required key client communications and deliverables eg. QBRs, campaign reviews and meetingsInnovation & Initiative
Develop imaginative, innovative and effective ideas and process improvements for your clients Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we’re in; establish a presence in the agency. Several years working agency-side in Paid Search marketing, with at least one year at manager levelTeam management of at least two members of staff Experience managing Paid Search campaigns across multi-account MCCs in Google and Bing Managed large budgets and delivering high performance for big brands Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in search marketing Communicate effectively at all levels, both up and down Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, building partnerships Strong commercial acumen Take responsibility for accounts, tasks, projects and people Able to work in high pressure environment and resolve client issues Competent and keen presenter with strong Powerpoint skills Analytical, yet operate strategically, with understanding of the ‘big picture’ ‘Hands-on’ approach to operations: Plans, assigns and directs work, time, material, people Strong attention to detail
