We are looking for a professional with a unique combination of physical security, safety, and crisis response intelligence skills. The Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) Supervisor manages the development, oversight, and execution of strategic programs for Xanterra Travel Collection’s GSOC function. Operational and logistical knowledge of the GSOC development experience is crucial to this role. The GSOC Manager drives implementation of GSOC procedures and develops process workflows and guidelines to standardize the business. Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end GSOC services and facilitate the strategic direction of the GSOC collective program. This includes but is not limited to: o Remote camera video monitoring o Security alarm monitoring o Fire alarm monitoring o Global threat monitoring o Virtual war room facilitation o Weather monitoring o Mass communication o Dedicated hotline security/crisis support o Ship tracker o Seaware monitoring o Tour travel monitoring o Access control o Remote video reviews o Security incident report review & approval o Frig/freezer temp alarm monitoring o Cash over/short reviews o POS exception report reviews o Investigation support o Executive report distribution • Develop, implement, and revise governance and compliance procedures and related activities within the GSOC team. • Ensure that GSOC support meets site-specific needs. • Leverage internal incident management system to ensure appropriate field follow through. • Develop and deliver status reports and metrics. • Create detailed descriptions of user needs and translate into functional requirements. • Explore, propose and adopt changing technology to prepare for and accommodate evolving organizational needs. • Build relationships and collaborate with business leaders, internal and external partners. • Work flexible schedules in line with high frequency event cycles within the company and adjusting over time as additional staff is added. Qualifications • Five years of professional experience in GSOC and security operations. • Advanced knowledge of general security incident software, threat monitoring software and other common GSOC technical tools. • Familiarity with general industry laws and regulations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Offices products including Outlook, Word and Excel. • Experience in developing and implementing security initiatives and programs. • Analytical skills in assessing program effectiveness and compliance. • Crisis response experience with National Incident Management System (NIMS) work. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively to a variety of audiences including large groups. • Proven ability to build productive relationships by positively interacting with coworkers, clients, industry groups, and consultants. • Passion for the safety and security of people. Preferred Qualifications / What Would Set You Apart: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Loss Prevention, or related field. • Certified NIMS trainer • Five years of experience in all aspects of security and crisis management programs. • Technical proficiency in systems architecture, migration and troubleshooting. • Project management experience, including managing outside contractors, managing project budgets, and developing contracts and scopes of work. • Experience in the hospitality industry. • Passion for national parks and public lands. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 plus incentive.
