Allied Universal is hiring a Security GSOC Operator to work at a Tech Company located in Cupertino, Ca.

Pay Rate : $30.00/ Hr

Shifts:

Swing Monday - Friday 1400 - 2245

Grave Saturday - Wednesday 2200-0645

*Valid driver's license required, minimum 1 year state CA license*

(Must have 2 + years of customer service, security experience and strong computer skills)

Allied Universal® is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator supports the Global Security Management and other business function leaders for a high-profile customer. This role executes the various core functions of the GSOC to include, but not limited to, incident recognition/escalation, emergency response, product security, and physical security. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator acts as a partner working closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business to understand information requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as communications hub for the Global Security departmentMonitor global events and assess/communicate impact to a high-profile customerComplete risk and intelligence driven reports to Global Security and other stakeholdersReceive calls for help/assistance from employees worldwide and respond appropriatelyProvide support and participate in crisis mitigation and after-action reportingAssist in sending company mass notificationsMonitor and communicate risks associated with supply chain assetsMonitor health of all Global Security platforms and applicationsMonitor access control and CCTV systems for alarms and see to appropriate responseCollaborate with Security Guard Force and other business partners to meet operational goalsAssist Global Security Management with other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMinimum of two (2) years of verifiable security experienceMinimum of two (2) years of verifiable Global Security Operation Center experienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience using CCURE and other surveillance tools (e.g., Genetic)Must possess one or more of the following:Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National GuardService in auxiliary police or police cadetsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, Political Sciences, Criminal Justice, or related field of studyTechnical writing skillsProficient Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word)Solid computer knowledge and skills, experience working with complex platformsAbility to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitorsAbility to communicate at an executive level, both written and orally, through superior communication skillsAbility to make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high demand situations, often under time constraintsPossess working knowledge of current global events and global geography/culturesAbility to analyze and think critically, sometimes under ambiguous circumstancesAbility to follow written policy and procedures
