Global Security is the in-house security function for Ernst & Young. 

 

Position Details:  

Job Title: Associate Analyst (Rank 66)
Department: Global Security Support, GDS RMS
Reporting to: Assistant Manager 
Location: Manila, Philippines 

 

Purpose of Position: 
Working under the direction of the Global Security leadership team and GDS RMS Global Security team, the incumbent would be part of the Global Security Support team and will support GDS RMS team overall coordination of emergency preparedness and response and business continuity planning activities globally. 

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Service Delivery

•    Proactive monitoring of Incidents related to emergency response. 
•    Secondary research on Open source
•    Collaborate with key personnel from functions such as Security, Technology, Facility and Admin, Talent team and other relevant teams. 
•    Assist in the preparation of technical documents as necessary (Business Impact Analysis, risk assessments, test plans, etc.)
•    Assist with the support of response and recovery activities during business interruption events
•    Support the preparation and delivery of training and awareness materials.
•    High availability required due to nature of role
•    Perform other duties, as assigned
 

Education & Experience: 
•    A bachelor’s degree in criminology, Security Studies, or a related discipline.
•    Experience in Crisis Management, Physical Security, or Emergency Response.
•    Adaptability, resilience, and self-confidence.
•    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
•    A proactive approach with meticulous attention to detail.
•    Strong organizational and time management skills.
•    Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
•    Proficiency in data analysis, dashboard reporting, and automation.
•    Logical and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.
•    Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
•    Experience in intelligence analysis and security operations.
•    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications
•    Certifications or additional training in security management, risk assessment, or emergency response.
•    Experience with risk management tools such as VCC, Everbridge, Seerist, AMEX GBT and ISOS.
•    Experience in contributing to projects, especially those focused on enhancing operational efficiency or driving innovation.
•    A track record of achieving or exceeding performance metrics and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

 

Other Position Requirements:
•    The candidate must be open to working morning, evening, and night shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
•    The candidate must be open to working with a flexible week-off setup, understanding that days off may not align with traditional weekends.
