Discover Impactful Work:The Global Service and Support (GSS) Equipment Compliance Manager oversees the field and depot calibrated tool program to ensure compliance is met and maintained. In this role, you will operate as the central contact for equipment management activities working with third party suppliers, Quality, and Global Procurement partners, to ensure adequate service is being received.
A day in the Life:Maintain and expand the calibrated tool program with emphasis on compliance and risk assessment to applicable ISO standards.Maintain accurate control of the calibrated tool assets deployed in the field, ensuring that the tools used in the field are within valid calibration dates and suitable for the tasks for which they are being used. Liaising with Service Operations, Field Service Engineers (FSE), Field Applications Scientists (FAS) and vendors. Maintain business continuity.Proactively work with the Field, Service Product Development Managers (SPDM), Finance, Procurement, Quality and Vendors to maintain and expand the calibrated tool program as needed for New Product Introductions (NPI).Oversee the calibrated tool program globally, including distributors, and partners.Keys to Success:EducationBA/BS requiredExperienceExperience in managing assetsProven attention to detail and ensuring document accuracyProject management experienceProven independent work experienceMust have proven skills in assisting in developing, updating, reviewing procedures and documents related to local/regional agency regulationsKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesBackground in Metrology and Quality Management preferredExcellent organizational and time management skills are required. Ability to meet time commitments and project plans.Knowledge of computer tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.Physical Requirements / Work Environment Position requires the individual to be capable of self-management.
