Eaton’s Aerospace group is seeking a Global SIOP Leader. This position could be based remotely within the US. 25% travel is expected.
As the SIOP Leader, you will be responsible for and own global SIOP processes for the entire Aerospace Group ($3.7B Rev). You will drive execution improvement derived from the global SIOP Processes and Tools. You will develop Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF) activities in a closed loop SIOP process to drive execution with a focus on digitization and standardized tools for improved business decision making. From a demand perspective, you will lead critical metrics such as demand plan bias, stability, and accuracy. From a supply planning perspective, you will lead the aggregation and analysis of schedule attainment, overbuilds, and inventory opportunity information to focus the team on OFAs to meet working capital targets. The risks and opportunities pertaining to the achievement of this lagging metric should be the catalyst to leading metrics like forecast accuracy, EH, RCCP, and MPS in a closed loop SIOP Process.
1. Develop and implement SIOP processes: Establish and manage a systematic approach to forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
2. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure coherent and synchronized planning. Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments.
3. Demand planning and forecasting: Lead the accurate forecasting of demand, identifying trends, and making informed decisions to balance supply and demand. Minimize forecasting errors and enhance accuracy
4. Inventory management: Optimize inventory levels to meet customer requirements while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Implement strategies to enhance inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
5. Production planning: Coordinate production schedules with network teams to ensure timely delivery of products and efficient utilization of resources.
6. Performance monitoring: Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, production, and inventory. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
7. Continuous improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance planning processes, leveraging technology and best practices. Implement new tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Executive reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on SIOP performance, challenges, and opportunities. Facilitate executive decision-making by presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in supply chain or supply chain related project management.
• Experience leading SIOP processes and implementation in a multinational, matrixed organization.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
