Job DescriptionAs the Global Sourcing Systems Manager, you will be accountable to improve data enrichment and reporting across multiple operating companies, Sourcing categories and enterprise systems. You will provide category managers with data and analytical support to enable development and execution of category strategies and supplier performance management (on-time delivery, lead time reduction, cost improvement). You will represent the Sourcing organization in Supply Chain Digital initiatives to ensure alignment, development, and adoption of our Digital roadmap across the Supply Chain enterprise.
Position location – This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leverage deep Sourcing and ERP systems experience with a data driven approach to continuously innovate and creatively develop solutions and process improvements to make the Sourcing infrastructure more efficient, effective and robust.Conduct detailed assessment of existing infrastructure, identify process gaps and inefficiencies with defined action plan to address and prevent future process and data gaps.Oversee Sourcing platforms and tools, creating dashboards and user interfaces to meet the needs of the organization.Utilize data and analytics to create insights to accelerate results-oriented decision making.Manage and improve supplier lifecycle processes (onboarding, sourcing, contract lifecycle, offboarding) meeting the growing needs of the business.Identify trends and opportunities for Sourcing through industry involvement that drives insights into best practices, including opportunity identification and adoption of AI.Provide training and change management for the organization to foster awareness and user adoption of changes as they occur; often partnering with other functional teams outside of Sourcing.Take an active leadership role in initiatives and opportunities to advance the Sourcing Center of Excellence.Establish and maintain effective governance and technical management of key internal systems to ensure data accuracy and sustainability through automated refreshes.QualificationsMinimum of 8+ years of experience in Global Sourcing/Global Supply Chain in systems environment, with deep understanding of upstream and downstream procurement processes.Advanced level of experience in SAP.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.Proven ability to utilize analytical tools and methodologies to drive insights and support decision-making.Experience in organizational change management, introducing new processes to cross-functional teams and organizations.Excellent problem solving skills working through ambiguity, in a highly matrixed organization, managing trade-offs, balancing conflicting demands while collaborating and executing ideas cross-functionally.Additional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
