We are looking for a visionary Global Strategic Events Lead to elevate our first-party events and customer marketing programs worldwide. In this high-impact role, you’ll craft a bold global events strategy, transform our first-party events brand, and create experiences that solidify Clearwater’s market leadership on the world stage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive global events strategy to engage clients and prospects, enhance brand visibility, and drive revenue growth.
Flagship Event Ownership: Lead the planning and delivery of Clearwater Connect, the company’s premier annual conference, ensuring a world-class experience for all attendees.
Event Portfolio Management: Create and manage a global events calendar, including user groups, advisory board meetings, executive programming, and additional high-impact events.
Client-Focused Innovation: Design creative and engaging event experiences that reflect client priorities, leverage market trends, and showcase Clearwater’s solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align event themes, agendas, and messaging with Clearwater’s business priorities and client needs.
Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of event execution, including venue selection, logistics, vendor management, production, and onsite operations.
Budget and ROI Management: Manage the events budget, including P&L oversight, revenue forecasting, ROI analysis, and post-event reporting.
Vendor management: expertly manage relationships with event agencies and vendors, ensuring seamless execution, brand alignment, and high-impact experiences that drive business results.
Event Marketing Partnership: Work closely with marketing teams to ensure effective audience acquisition, integrated campaigns, and lead generation through events.
Performance Measurement: Implement robust post-event surveys and analytics to measure success, optimize experiences, and inform future strategies.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years experience, financial services or B2B SaaS
Extensive experience in event strategy, operations, and execution, focusing on innovation and customer engagement.
Proven ability to manage complex, high-profile global events, including hybrid formats with breakout sessions, networking, and high production value.
P&L ownership and a track record of delivering measurable business results.
Strong strategic planning and organizational skills with the ability to balance creativity and operational detail.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage clients and influence senior stakeholders.
Data-driven mindset with expertise in ROI measurement and event performance optimization.
Advanced project management and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.

Salary Range
$102,000.00 - $144,000.00This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
