What You'll Do
The Global Strategic Projects Senior Director – Expertise & Knowledge is a key member of the Expertise and Knowledge leadership team. This role will lead key strategic projects for all businesses within the Expertise and Knowledge Practice, namely the Knowledge Team, Survey Operations, Data & Research Services, Knowledge & Design Tribes and the Expert Career Track (ECT). The Senior Director will also act as the Practice’s “COO” who drives, coordinates and oversees the ongoing activities and events. In addition to the E&K Practice’s Business Leaders, you will work closely with BCG PA senior leadership, including the Global Practice Management Senior/Executive Directors (GPMS/XDs), and other relevant stakeholders to drive strategic projects for Expertise & Knowledge on a global level. The role requires strategic thinking, outstanding project management skills, strong execution capabilities and excellent influencing and change management capabilities to accelerate the broader expertise and knowledge agenda across the firm.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Teaming with the Knowledge PAL and Executive Directors to identify and lead projects for BCG's Expertise & Knowledge business which are critical to evolve the strategy and target operating model to improve fitness-for-purpose and performance. The project portfolio will be fluid, examples include:
Successfully embedding and further driving the E&K operating model evolution across teams to ensure best-in-class value delivery
Actively identifying and aligning business objectives with priority E&K GenAI initiatives (including Voyager evolution and the rebuild of BCG's Request Management System)
Redefining and driving the E&K data and procurement strategy, collaborating across functions, PAs and geographiesIdentifying gaps and opportunities to continuously improve BCG’s Expertise & Knowledge agendaBeing a valued thought partner working closely with the Knowledge PAL and the Global Knowledge Leadership Team to deliver on objectives and prioritiesManaging the interface between Expertise & Knowledge and BCG’s broader change and transformation priorities, proactively navigating interdependencies in line with the E&K strategic agendaPlaying a crucial role in driving and delivering the overall E&K Leadership Team agenda by getting the team organized and driving accountability (“Chief of Staff”-like role): Formulating the PA strategy and priorities with the PAL and broader leadership team by translating strategic priorities into action, preparing analyses to support leadership discussions; formulating recommendations and business cases

You will be part of the Expertise & Knowledge leadership team and report to the Knowledge PAL. The role will also require significant connection with Senior BCG leaders, including EC and OC, all PAs and other leading internal functions.
