The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success.  It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation.  GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.

 

Role Description

Join our dynamic team as a Global Supply Management Intern this summer and immerse yourself in a hands-on learning experience. Live, work, and engage with the communities where we operate while honing your professional skills. As an intern, you'll be expected to contribute significantly to our business and supply chain goals, either independently or as part of a team.


Under the guidance of a supervisor or mentor, you'll gain practical work experience, interact with cutting-edge technologies, industry experts, and leaders. The primary objective of our Global Supply Chain Intern Program is to elevate our talent standards, thereby solidifying our recruitment pipeline for entry-level positions to cater to our immediate and future demands.

Leverage your solid supply chain fundamentals to accomplish tasks. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree. Demonstrates determination and commitment. Intellectually curious with the ability to understand, analyze, and solve intricate problems. Flexibility to adjust priorities and tasks as needed. Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic business/manufacturing environment. Proficiency in MS Office. Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-August 2025) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity. Be willing to work at the posted job location(s)


Desired Skills:

Project Management. Knowledge and experience with SAP. Prior relevant experience is an advantage.

​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
