POSITION SUMMARY:
The Global Systems Process Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing quality management system, customer audit functions, and calibration program for Advanced Energy Colorado ensuring compliance with new and existing quality and customer requirements and regulations, implementing quality management actions, automating solutions through SharePoint or other software applications and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures. The Global Systems Process Lead provides support to projects from the planning phase to project completion.
To be successful the Global Systems Process Lead must have the ability to ensure all processes and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards and promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise. Auditing to ensure all design center sites are following the required standard(s).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Maintenance:
Partner with employees and leadership to maintain and further develop throughout the organization a strong culture of ethics and compliance, including personal accountability at all levels in the organization with a spirit of partnership and positive problem solving. Execute routine and risk-based monitoring for relevant business activities and related policies and procedures; identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; assist in and oversee the implementation of corrective action plans as necessary; and generate reports on monitoring, auditing, and risk assessment for the business.Works with the Sr. Global Quality Systems Manager to continuously improve the Global Quality Management System. Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with global requirements. Manage and continuously improve the quality document control and corrective action systems and communicate system status through performance metrics. Creates holistic strategies to ensure AE conforms to customer, industry, and registrar requirements. Collaborates with Product Development, Manufacturing, NPI and Service to define specific quality requirements which may lead to changes globally. Collaborate with AE sites world-wide to drive consistency in Quality compliance with regulatory and company standards Demonstrate the value of quality actions to our customers. Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with internal and external customers in all circumstances including answering questions/surveys, relaying messages, and providing information regarding all aspects of AE’s Quality Management System Streamline processes worldwide through automation, which may require the creation of programs in SharePoint or other software platforms. Assists with implementation and maintenance of EQSM (Enterprise Quality Systems Management) Effective communication with all levels of the organization.Audits:
Responsible for maintaining, improving, and executing customer audits. Oversee internal auditing and supplier quality programs, including scheduling and participating in audits, to ensure compliance with appropriate quality standards and regulations. Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports. Maintains audit-related policies, procedures, and forms to ensure conformance with standards and continuous improvement of internal audit-related activities. Recruits, trains, and manages an internal auditor pool, sufficient to ensure internal audit program objectives are met. Support management reviews, defining agenda and capturing meeting minutes. Generates metrics and trend reports, as necessary. Ensuring compliance with current regulations. Assists with AE’s global ISO Standard implementation and third-party certification Assists with auditing Design Centers worldwide to ensure compliance with applicable standards and drives corrective actions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in standard office environment and uses general office equipment. Audit activities will take place in all AE work environments, including manufacturing, service, and laboratory settings. Approximately 25% of travel is required.
SKILLS:
Highly skilled auditor, able to conduct effective inquiries, investigations, and verification. Deep understanding of the application of quality systems in product development, manufacturing, and service environments. Skilled at using statistical and non-statistical QA/QC tools to collect, research, analyze data and present to managers. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Excellent SharePoint and Microsoft office suite program skills. Self-directed, ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to enforce standards when applicable. Ability to lead and influence all organization levels.
EXPERIENCE:
0 - 5 years auditing experience or combination of ISO, manufacturing, and service industry knowledge.Previous manager experience.
Preparing, coordinating, and executing top level customer audits.
EDUCATION:
Lead auditor certification from an IRCA organization, or ability to complete upon hiring, this includes the following standards (current version): 19011 (Auditing Guidelines) 9001 (Quality Management) 13485 (Medical) 14001 (EMS) Certification as a Quality Engineer and/or Quality Auditor with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or other accredited business. BS in business or engineering
COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 to $115,000 per year.
