The Opportunity
As a Technology Specialist at P&G, your focus will be on implementing and managing new technological solutions within the IT function. You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth integration of innovative solutions with existing systems and providing technical support during proof-of-concept (PoC) projects. Working collaboratively with the central technology leadership team, functional leaders, and decision-makers across different business units, you will be expected to conduct technology due diligence and manage the risk assessments process during PoCs.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct technology due diligence on startups and new tech solutions across various fields, including Cyber, DevOps, Data & AI, and infrastructure.
+ Act as the application owner and manage the Risk Assessment process during PoCs.
+ Ensure smooth integration of innovative solutions with existing systems.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting during PoCs.
+ Collaborate with other IT teams to align technological initiatives.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation.
+ Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members.
+ Stay updated on new technologies and identify trends and opportunities.
Job Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of professional IT work experience, including ability to code
+ Deep technology knowledge, well-informed about market trends and key players.
+ Ability to conduct tech due diligence across a broad range of areas, including Cyber, DevOps, Data Infra and Data Management, Cloud Infra, ML and Foundation Models.
+ Effective communication skills to engage with senior management.
+ Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Flexibility and ability to deal with complexity under time pressure in a structured way.
+ Ability to work a hybrid work schedule in Cincinnati, OH based office.
Preferred:
+ Prior experience working with or for a start up company or venture capital firm
Pay Range: $85,000 – $115,000
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of equal opportunity factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skills, and level of experience.
