Job Description:We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Global Technology Partner Manager to manage a portfolio of strategic technology partnerships for our VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) division. The successful candidate will work closely with our partners and division personnel to identify and drive joint development initiatives, marketing opportunities, and route to market activations. Cross-group collaboration, clear communications and the ability to influence without direct control over product, sales and marketing teams will be required to deliver business results.
As a key member of our strategic technology and ISV partner team, you will be responsible for:
Unlocking new business opportunities that support the growth plans of the VCF division and key strategic priorities
Driving a complex set of work streams by working together with product management, engineering, marketing and route to market teams
Prioritizing and executing programs with internal support from key stakeholders and ensuring that business development goals are supported through appropriate availability of products, services and support for customers and partners
Advocating for the partner and partnership to drive jointly agreed work streams which are fully aligned and supported by business and technical stakeholders
Clearly and concisely reporting and communicating impactful business results
Other key areas of focus include:
Developing effective partner business plans based on VMware and strategic technology partner goals for the fiscal year including quantifiable objectives, technical landmarks, marketing and sales execution plans, resource mapping and sponsorship
Aligning across VMware and partner product and engineering teams to unlock and deliver on new joint opportunities through co-innovation and co-development
Working closely with VMware and partner team to create a governance model to grow the partnership and joint GTM opportunities
Managing communications across cross-functional teams
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of professional experience in partner management, business development or related roles in technology
Proven track record of driving successful partner engagement through strategic initiatives
VMware product knowledge, as well as virtualization, VDI, semiconductor and AI domain knowledge would be a distinct advantage
Relationship driven with a strong dedication to collaboration and the ability to build credibility across multiple stakeholders

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $182,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
