This role will also support the EMEA Global Trade Compliance Manager in broker management and in customs process improvement. **Knowledge, Skills & Experience** **At least 5 years' experience in customs law and customs operations preferably in auditing and broker management** **Advanced knowledge of MS office** Advanced communication level in English (both written and verbal) **Requirements** Customs qualification is a must. **Attitude & disposition** Logical thinking and analytical mindset Good time-management Supportive attitude Good team player Good interpersonal skills **Other circumstances** **Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role** + Audit export-import entry package from customs brokers and other inputs to against a check list to ensure all required documents are accounted for. + Monitor and support to implement customs and export control regulatory changes in EMEA region. + Support EMEA Global Trade Compliance Manager in operational broker management and other customs related initiatives. + Support to improve existing customs processes. + Main contact for Albemarle Europe export-import matters, support Albemarle Germany if needed.
