Global Trade TPO
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a TPO to join their clients Global Trade Organization. He/she will be understanding what their business partners are dealing with in terms of things like, agency comes in for an audit and so they have to keep the records of what they did for record keeping purposes and things like that. This individual will be the main point of contact for any communication between the architects and with their business partners by working very closely with the TPA. The two of them of course, are going to be joined at the hip in making this whole thing successful. This individua will be the bridge between business and our technology partners. (What kind of timeline Do you think you can build this into your backlog on Does that make sense this is going to work for us. They will be actively involved for example, with procurement and sourcing when it comes to the contract for this screening solution. They would be somebody that would be responsible for even like approving the invoices, when we actually go into production for it or even starting the implementation and making sure that even though business will own the contract, they would have to sign off that yes, they actually use that many hours during the implementation and, and things like that. So they will have some business related functions like that as well in managing the project from an oversight point of view, during screening, right while they're working with these vendors and screening them. This individual will be splitting their time 50/50: Supporting a project for one of their recent acquisitions, who is going to market for a SaaS solution with which to file Export Customs declarations (and later implementing that tool). Additional support for manager and other workstreams they already have in flight within the Product. Strategy  Define the market and business product-driven strategy  Maximize return on investment (ROI) by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value (building the right thing)  Define the product vision and roadmap including new features and enhancements  In the absence of a Product Analyst, the TPO may also be responsible for developing and managing business requirements, writing user stories, and communicating the vision to developers and testers Product development oversight  Communicate the vision of the product to developers and testers  Negotiate with the business to see what features are built and which are backlogged based on capacity  Accountable for the development work getting done correctly  Incorporate user feedback and insights into the next build iteration  Report back to the business on the delivery status of features, functionality, and applications Product Ownership Oversight  Drive adoption of the product and use thereof across sectors with BPO, PA, and Platform Tech Lead  Closely work with Product Line leads to report the performance of applications  Own the product use throughout all the stages of the product lifecycle  Define product catalog linked to user needs and business value We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 3-5 years experience in Regulatory/Compliance preferred OR Global Trade Compliance and/or Transportation  Validated analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable managing large, sophisticated data sets and ability to perform analysis, translating insights into impactful recommendations  Agile development experience, SDLC methodology, risk management including information security strong product management/product owner  Experience being a TPO within a large corporate environment  Experienced in handling a product backlog/release plan, tracking team-level metrics, attending product team ceremonies, and removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up), to deliver projects quickly and efficiently with high value.  Validated analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable managing large, sophisticated data sets and ability to perform analysis, translating insights into impactful recommendations  Strong IT background with a consistent record of delivering results  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact skillfully and confidently with internal partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes  Agile development experience and knowledge of JIRA null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
