Global Training Manager, Commercial Excellence - ONSITE

This position is part of the Global Commercial Enablement Team and will be onsite at any of our IDT facilities (Coralville, IA / Boulder, CO / San Diego, CA / Raleigh, NC / Redwood City, CA). In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Systematically frame and communicate how training learning management systems, data, and processes come together in order to create an end-to-end exceptional learning experience + Influence cross-functional groups to align on optimal training solutions and lead associate transformative change efforts for virtual and live training and partner with subject matter experts to identify and execute needed training programs + Design and implement comprehensive training strategy to enable successful new product release and assist with commercialization initiatives + Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify/improve existing programs and measure training effectivity to identify areas for improvement by soliciting feedback from training participants to be used as part of DBS Continuous Process Improvement + Ensures that decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; ensures that all training related processes are compliant with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements such as: ISO, GMP and FDA; receives guidance and oversight from Commercial Enablement Director; + Apply instructional design and adult learning methodology to improve training quality + Lead the Global Commercial Excellence Training team, including employee hiring, training, and performance management The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree in educational leadership or related field and 5+ years of experience leading training programs OR Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in educational leadership or related field and 3+ years of experience in capability building and leading training programs. + 3+ years of people leadership experience that may involve any of the following: directly managing/supervising, mentoring, coaching, OR leading team and related functions. + Demonstrated experience in process / workflow improvement analyses and developing strategies for execution. + Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional groups Travel Requirements: + This position requires up to 50% flying and/or driving domestic travel, which includes overnight stays. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience with Learning Management Systems; Master Control experience a plus + Experience in medical device, clinical laboratory, or Life Sciences industry with technical aptitude to comprehend scientific and technical content + Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs for external and internal customers The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
