Global Transportation and Logistics Manager (P3)

As the Videojet Global Transportation and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the global logistics operation. This includes developing and monitoring budgets, forecasting future financial targets, and implementing cost-saving projects to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses. You will additionally oversee the Freight Audit and Pay systems to ensure accurate billing and payment compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Implement cost-savings strategies and associated projects to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, T&L Partners, and internal stakeholders to effectively manage transportation and Logistics challengesTracking and Reporting: Develop standard work and visual management pertaining to Transportation and Logistics Spend, Project Execution, and other strategic initiativesFinancial Management: Manage significant financial logistics items, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reconciliation, and strategic cost analyses.Compliance: Manage the Freight Audit and Pay program implementation, and ensure compliance with global partners

Essential Skills

Supply Chain Management: Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, Warehouse Management Systems, and Transportation Management systemsFinancial Acumen: Experience in financial budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.Communication: Excellent communication skills for negotiating and liaising with various stakeholders including external T&L partners, suppliers, and internal logistics associates.Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to handle logistical challenges.

Are you qualified?

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experienceMinimum of 3 years experience in Logistics, specifically with supplier negotiations, financial budgeting, and project management.Demonstrated results leading cost-reduction projectsProven global agility and business acumen, with substantial experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
