_Summary Overview – Senior manager position responsible for overseeing the West Region for the Law Firm Group Business. Position is a member of the Law Firm Group Management team and the extended Wealth at Work Management team. High-level responsibilities included full P&L oversight, staffing, strategic planning, and day-to-day management of the region._ **_EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS AND TASKS:_** _(Operating results, customer effectiveness, risk, business, technical proficiency, execution, professional standards, leadership, influence, shared ownership):_ **_DEVELOP SALES STRATEGIES_** + _Serve as strategic partner with Citigroup Seniors to determine the best way to execute the WaW/LFG strategic plan._ + _Develop proactive sales and marketing strategies for different client segments._ + _Accelerated sales revenue performance_ + _Participate and initiate client calls with sales force_ + _Develop strategy to expand within the NY Metro region, open new offices when and where appropriate._ **_DRIVE SALES RESULTS&PROFITABILITY_** + _Continuously track sales performance._ + _Streamline sales processes to meet client needs._ + _Help bankers sell and add value to the sales process._ + _Manage expenses of sales team._ **_BUILD&MAINTAIN CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS_** + _Give client issues the highest level of priority._ + _Actively assist bankers in assessing client needs and developing recommendations._ + _Ensure clients are presented with a seamless integration of products and services that best meet their needs._ + _Highly satisfied client base_ + _Minimal customer attrition_ **_BUILD EFFECTIVE TEAMS_** **_NEGOTIATE THE CITIGROUP ORGANIZATION_** + _Identify and initiate cross-referral opportunities._ + _Influence and gain support across all levels of Citi Global Wealth and Citigroup._ **_PROMOTE INTEGRITY&TRUST_** + _Communicate risks and reduce exposure for the client and Citi Global Wealth._ + _Ensure 100% compliance on all regulatory requirements._ + _Processes (both bank and CIS) utilized are consistent with corporate compliance policies_ + _Ensure controls are in place to meet all audit requirements_ **_KEY CHALLENGES / ANTICIPATED CHANGES:_** + _Build marketplace awareness of Wealth at Work/Law Firm Group and communicate the value that Citigroup can bring to the new clients and the community._ + _Position the Citigroup Private Bank as the provider of choice for top law firms in the West._ + _Recruit, select and develop staff with well-rounded skills and knowledge to ensure growth and development of "high end" client base._ + _Ensure staff is well trained on Private Banking products and services and that the Team can effectively communicate the "Citi" value._ + _Build social and community involvement by becoming an active participant in local events and becoming a well known, trusted, and respected professional within the community._ + _Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction for client base as client count increases._ + _Quickly gaining market share in regional market._ + _Effectively manage time / prioritizing multiple tasks_ + _Effectively coach all Team to achieve exceptional performance._ + _Consistently recognize staff members for accomplishments and exceeding objectives._ + _Build and maintaining a cohesive team that has the skills and characteristics to evolve into a High Performance Team._ **_EXPERIENCE_** _:_ + _Previously managed highly skilled sales force in Financial Services_ + _Licenses required: SIE, Series 7, 66 or 65&63, 24 or 9&10_ + _Extensive knowledge of investment management & derivative products_ + _Proven ability to manage against segmented (tiered) client base_ + _Demonstrated sales / acquisition performance_ + _Demonstrated coaching and people development experience_ + _Strong organizational skills_ + _Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills_ + _Demonstrated ability to motivate staff_ + _Marketing planning skills_ + _Sales plan development skills_ + _Budget management skills_ + _Financial analysis skills (revenue, expenses, margin)_ + _Excellent decision making skills_ + _Strong business acumen_ + _Knowledge of the Law Firm Industry Preferred, but not required_ **_Skills:_** + _Team player_ + _Excellent people manager with proven skills and abilities to recruit, select and develop talent_ + _Excellent communicator (staff, clients and colleagues)._ + _Customer and quality focused_ + _Thinks strategically — Sees the big picture_ + _Leads by example.
