Position Summary

The GMP Cleaner safely and efficiently disassembles, cleans, stores and assembles all equipment associated with the micronization of all client provided material as per CMTI (Catalent Micron Technologies) procedures and policies, client instructions and cGMP guidelines. The GMP Cleaner consistently models Catalent values and leadership behaviors in all interactions.

The Role

Safely cleans, stores and assembles all CMTI and client mills and any of the associated equipment assigned to a specific product after processing.

Monitor all equipment to ensure that required re-cleaning dates have not expired.   

Organize and maintain proper levels of inventory of associated parts for all mills, scales, heat-sealers, etc.

Maintain the required cleanliness of the entire cleaning area and processing equipment.

Thorough & consistent documentation techniques.

Safely carry out all duties in line with the procedures and policies set forth by MTI.

Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs of systems and equipment as outlined in MTI, cGMP and client requirements.

All other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

High School Diploma or GED.

No experience required. Prior production experience a plus.

Ability to work weekday and weekend OT a plus.

Consistently demonstrates the systemization of their assigned area. 

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Excellent time management skills.

Detail-oriented.

Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day, lift up to 60 pounds, climb steps/ladders and occasionally work from elevated platforms.

Ability to wear a respirator and pass the required respiratory medical exam.

Ability to work in loud environments and wear various types of hearing protection.
