GNC Systems Engineer - REMOTE
Description: The Satellite AOCS/ADC/GNC Systems Engineer will perform and participate in the following activities, depending on the experience of the candidate. - Define, analyze and write requirements definition and flowdown, validation matrix, design description including reaction wheels, torque rod sizing, sensors performance, characteristics, redundancy and fault management based on mission requirements. - Develop control algorithms based on space laws - Perform required stability analysis and effects on Platform instruments - Implement pointing, orbit raising, and station keeping algorithms for flight. - Analyze platform stability to ensure low jitter of line-of-sight instruments. - Support to mission analysis, requirements and Flight Software - Monitor MDA’s suppliers and integrated product team - Provide inputs and support to all program reviews including EQSR, SRR, PDR, CDR. - Attend all test reviews TRR, TRB, DRB, and NCR’s. - Support sub-system Assembly, Integration and Test activities. - Support Satellite testing: EGSE, Test supervision, data analysis - Support Satellite tests at MDA, at test facilities or at supplier premises. - Write up subsystem Operations Manual. - Support In-Orbit Test (IOT). Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in relevant field with 5+ years of relevant experience -Previous design and test experience with LEO/MEO satellites and AOCS/GNC subsystems - Knowledge and proven experience in GNC Flight Software About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
