SUMMARY:
To expedite and run food to the guest in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner while maintaining fine dining service standards. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend pre-shift meetings.Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.Set-up stations and side areas and ensure that sufficient supplies are on-handServe additional beverages to guests as requested.Expedite food correctly on to trays to be run to the appropriate dining room tables.Notify all manager anything out of the ordinary when the food is being runSort dirty china, silverware and glassware into appropriate bus tubs on the bus cart Polish silverware.Stock condiments.Knowledge of all the ingredients details of every dish on the menuCommunicating clearly with the kitchen and front of the house staffAssist Food Service as needed.Complete assigned side workAssist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.Pick up supplies and stock storeroom.Inform manager of needed supplies.Maintain prescribed par stock levels in side stations.Fill ice bins in side stations.Transport dirty china, glassware and silverware to the dish room and replenish the side stations with clean china, glassware and silverware.Empty trash for the side stationsComplete special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum one year high volume Fine Dining Restaurant, preferably in a Hotel/Casino environment. Must have knowledge of silent service and bussing responsibilities Must possess good memory and the ability to recall recipes. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife skills. Good people skills and a well-groomed appearance. Must speak, read, write and understand English. Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).Minimum age requirement is 18.Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required; Spa Soft experience preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school Diploma2 years’ experience.Minimum age requirement is 18
