The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Electric Vehicle (EV) engineering services for the next generation EV platform, set to release in the next 3 years. This role focuses on back-end development to manage, maintain, and optimize charging stations and events, working on cloud services. The position is located in Plano, TX, with a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. Responsibilities + Design and develop GoLang application program interfaces (APIs) and web services. + Maintain REST API documentation using Swagger and create design documentation. + Document work and engage in quality testing/validation for changes or improved features before release. + Troubleshoot issues and debug on the AWS cloud platform. + Optimize and improve existing codebases and perform peer code reviews. + Collaborate with leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates. + Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers. MUST HAVE Skills + Minimum of 3 years of recent experience with Golang. + Strong exp in AWS cloud services. + Experience with large-scale distributed systems. + Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with other programming languages such as Python and NodeJS. + Experience in the automotive industry is preferred. + Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology. + Experience in implementing and validating platform technical specifications. + Experience with cloud engineering, architecture, DevOps, and software as a service.
