Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Parts Coordinator in our Goldrush Underground Maintenance department.

This position will provide support for all Underground Mobile Maintenance projects and planning. This support shall include, but not be limited to ensuring parts are located and staged for all scheduled maintenance jobs, coordinating machine issues with Predictive Maintenance/Condition Monitoring groups (both internal and external), coordinating with Supply Chain and setting stocking levels, etc.
In addition, the Underground Mobile Maintenance Parts Expeditor, will be responsible for material extensions, entering stock requests, assisting with on-time parts delivery, and looking at past material usage along with component replacement forecasts to determine proper stocking levels at site as well as local inventory levels held by Business Partners.
The successful candidate will coordinate activities that support NGM’s best business practices. When necessary, the successful candidate will modify existing or create new operating procedures and other tools that will ensure maximum asset value is achieved while staying true to the Nevada Gold Mines Vision and Core Values
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Comply with State and Federal legal regulations, Barrick Safety and Environmental policies and procedures Cooperate with supervisors, coordinators and managers on management of safety and environmental issues, including complying with any instruction Intervene, as necessary, to ensure the health and safety of others in the workplace and to protect the environment Attend scheduled or unscheduled safety meetings Complete regular safety inspections of the workplace and audit work practices Work effectively as a team member Works effectively with other departments and various suppliers Demonstrates safe and environmentally sound work practices Ability to accurately locate available suppliers, identify correct parts by manufacturer, machine serial number and any applicable manufacturer updates to support the NGM business strategy Ability to identify physical part location, availability & lead times for procurement Efficiency at creating direct charge requisitions & procurement of system catalogued materials following established NGM process flows and tracks delivery through to material(s) received Monitors the process flow of parts orders for scheduled/ unscheduled workflow communicating identified risk to team Works closely with area or on call buyer to ensure accurate delivery of parts orders communicating progress to maintenance end user Identify & communicate improvement opportunities related to part procurement and costs Understand key stakeholders involved with parts orders and provide efficient, accurate communication to relevant parties Demonstrate visible identification of parts. (I.e., hydraulic pump vs. hydraulic motor) Creates and distributes applicable component replacement advisories (CRA'S) for rotable parts Works closely with NGM-Supply Chain to evaluate parts returns and process applicable parts Demonstrate proficiency with supporting software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) Monitors exchangeable core components and parts for return and communicates progress to applicable stakeholders Demonstrate competent forklift operation Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain process flows (procurement, material governance) Conducts competitive Request for Quotation processes Performs analysis of unused parts and provides accurate reporting Kit where necessary and stage parts in shop for maintenance execution teamsExposure to PdM/CM technologies Preferred Fundamental operational efficiency of ERP (SAP) Preferred Planning experience Preferred Specialized mechanical/electrical trades experience, particularly with UG mining equipment Preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office, MST, SAP, Power BI and PI Vison software programs Preferred Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills Required Ability to perform the essential functions of this position Required Five (5) years practical experience in Maintenance, preferably in a mining environment Required*
