The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for managing the beverage cart and the profitability of the sales. Always provides outstanding customer service with a smile.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
Stays inform of daily play, tournaments, and special events. Sets up beverage cart according to the daily needs. Responsible and accountable for daily reconciliation of monies to be deposited and keep tight controls of inventory and shrinkage. Provides food and beverage in the clubhouse. Assist in the training new employees to ensure they work in a professional manner and are knowledgeable about their duties in the food and beverage department. Responsible for assuring that beverage carts and storage areas are clean and up to California Food and Beverage codes. Comply with California state liquor laws, (ABC). Communicates with management regarding any adjustments in ordering or suggestions of products that may be needed to better perform and meet the goals. Follow policies and procedures. May assist in the cooking of Golf Course meals. Use POS (Point of Sale) system, count money, make change, stock the starter shack and count inventory for starter shack. Provides beverage and snack service at the starter shack. Assist and suggest items or products to carry on the beverage carts keeping in mind the highest quality products while creating the highest profitability. Will fill out orders for food, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and all condiments necessary to properly stock the beverage carts and provide enough products to sustain daily play. Greet each group with a smile and without disrupting their golf game, asking if they would like anything to eat or drink. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years experience in customer service and at least 6 month cash handling experience. Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to interpret documents and reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and situations reasonably. Must be able to work shifts starting at 5:30 a.m. and work closing shifts ending as late as 9:30 p.m. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Prefer to have someone with some knowledge of golf. Prefer to have someone familiar with the program FORE! Reservation.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a Valid California drivers license.
