Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Golf Course Mechanic / Equipment Technician to join their amazing Golf Team!

Surrounded by Walt Disney Resort, this luxurious Forbes 4-Star property has 502 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pool, and in-room dining.

\n\nClassification: Full Time\nShift:  AM shift - must have availability to work weekends and holidays.\nPay: $20 per hour plus full-time benefits \n\n

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nMaintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery\nConduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance\nRespond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment\nRecord and report completed repairs and items that require further attention\n\n

Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program, repair broken or failing equipment, keep record of parts and labor, order parts and supplies, assist Head Mechanic in all areas

\n

Responsible for daily check in of all Golf Course equipment as well as daily maintenance of wash rack system. Maintenance of all small tools like edgers, blowers, fly mowers and push mowers

\n

Daily set up of Golf Course as needed which includes mowing Greens, Tees, Fairways and Approaches

\n

Minimum of 6 months of previous Mechanic experience preferred
