Golf Pro Shop Attendant Responsibilities:

Assists members and their guests in selection of merchandise. Assists with displaying and maintenance of golf shop merchandise. Assists as needed with weekly/monthly retail display changes and par stock levels. Takes tee times as needed following club rules and policies Maintains up-to-date information as needed to provide to golfers as they check in. Answers golf shop telephone, assists with checking in golfers and collecting fees as appropriate. Uses POS system, maintains register area and wraps retail items as needed. Assists golf professionals and tournament coordinator with special events and keep up to date with execution.  Cleans and straightens golf shop as needed. Assists Golf Professionals in everyday duties. Maintains regular contact with the shop for up-to-date information on a regular basis. 

Golf Pro Shop Attendant Qualifications:

Retail experience preferred. Computer experience preferred. Golf knowledge preferred.

Golf Pro Shop Attendant Critical Skills:

Excellent communication and public relations skills required. Must be able to meet public in a friendly, courteous manner.

Golf Pro Shop Attendant Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in an environment that requires travel to various locations on campus by approved means. Flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
