(2nd shift 3pm-11pm – Monday-Friday)

(3rd shift 11pm-7am – Sunday-Thursday)

The Job You Will Perform:

Supervises activities of all personnel and the operation or the machine assigned to him/her. Maintains quality requirements in accordance with company standards. Must have specific job knowledge of machine to which he/she is responsible: Machine capabilities and limitations Set-up procedures Quality adjustments Machine maintenance and housekeeping Must be thoroughly familiar with quality operations and standards: Die Cutting: cut to print register elimination of score cracking, cutting and stripping Joining: Square folding, automatic bottoms, gap control, adhesion Printing: Coverage, registration, crush, sharpness, viscosity Sheet scoring: Dimensions, score quality Responsible for set up duties as assigned.  Responsible for certain aspects of quality assurance.  May be required to load material into machine.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.  Must be able to read a standard tape measure, and read and understand job specification cards.  Must follow all safety rules and procedures; watch out for crew member’s safety at all times; always follow lock out and tag out procedures; always use personal protective equipment (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs and safety vest, Kevlar gloves, etc).  Work requires the ability to understand and follow directions. Demonstrated ability to add and subtract all units of measure, read and copy figures and count and record figures.  A comprehension level is required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form and to deal with problems.
