Site Name: Taiwan - Taipei Posted Date: Feb 17 2025 Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Influence To work closely with BUs as business partner and drive external advocacy strategy. Clearly map out who the key influencers relevant to the topic and to assess their stances, as well as how the stakeholders interact and connect. Utilize these information to design and execute effective engagement plans. The scope would include government agencies, media, cross-sector organizations, NGOs and patient groups. Leverage international platforms like APEC and utilize publications and statistics / policies from other markets to drive for local policy changes. Develop networks in breadth and depth and foster trusted relations, build GSK reputation across individual decision makers and different institutions (government agencies, legislature, media, political parties, medical societies, NGOs, patient groups, and trade associations). Execute engagement plan and clearly track the progress with interaction log, analysis and monthly performance reviews. Act as a trusted business partner for the BUs and have clear understanding of how public policy advocacy can drive the company’s Commercial, R&D and Supply Chain strategies and meet public health needs or realize private market opportunities. Alignment with Market Access & Regulatory The person is curious about the world in which we operate. They continuously track and interpret economic, political, societal and market trends and feed this into the evolving commercial strategy (e.g. developments in regulatory, pricing and access systems). The person should have good understanding of regulatory, pricing and access policy to identify commercial opportunities and be able to translate those into statements / whitepapers / policy briefs. The person should proactively monitor and engage in health policy discussions with various stakeholders internally and externally. The person should work closely with Market Access team and support the Market Access process whenever necessary Reputation Management Alongside the General Manager, the GA manager is accountable for GSK meeting its targets in corporate reputation indexes. They act as a custodian of GSK’s brand and reputation. They demonstrate courage and willingness to take smart risks. This means proactively identifying risks, opportunities and future trends with both short and longer term views. They find ways to share these insights and influence decision-making in the company. The GA manager has a strong working knowledge of relevant policy. They articulate the potential impact of non-compliance using examples that drive behavioral change. Their behavior exhibits how to work within the compliance framework to deliver required business outcomes. Educational Background University degree Media or Healthcare related is a plus Job-Related Experience Demonstrate solid experience working in or with government agencies, political parties or media. Having Taiwan MNCs CGA work experience, not limited to pharmaceutical industry, is a plus. Other Job-Related Skills/Background Have strong network with key stakeholders would be a plus, e.g., MOHW, Executive Yuan, Legislative Yuan, etc. Why GSK?
