We are looking for a Government Affairs PAG Manager who has the ability to set strategies, persistent, high capacity of negotiation to join us in our team, based in CDMX
 


About the role

 

The Government Affairs and Patient Advocacy Manager is responsible for advocating for the company's interests and the needs of patients within the regulatory and political landscape. This role involves building relationships with government officials, policymakers, and patient advocacy groups to influence healthcare policy and ensure access to the company's products. The manager will analyze policy developments, develop advocacy strategies, engage with stakeholders, and represent the company's perspective externally, to public for a and to Health Authorities. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our company’s mission aligns with regulatory requirements and the needs of the communities we serve.

 

What you’ll do

 

Policy Analysis: Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that impact the pharmaceutical industry, particularly those related to the company's products and therapeutic areas. On top, acts proactively, towards shaping the environment
Advocacy: Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence policymakers and government officials on issues relevant to the company's interests, acting with Ethics, Integrity and with full respect to Code of Conduct.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, policymakers, patient advocacy groups, and industry associations.
Patient Advocacy: Represent the company's perspective on patient-centric issues and work collaboratively with patient advocacy groups to address their needs regarding empowerment and understanding of local healthcare  ecosystem.
Public Affairs: Manage the company's public relations and communications efforts related to government affairs and patient advocacy.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to address potential regulatory or policy challenges.
Internal Communications: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment on government affairs and patient advocacy strategies.
Sustainability Initiatives: Manage affiliate sustainability plan in line with global Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD); by working with key internal/external stakeholders.


Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

 

Education: Bachelor's Degree communication, administration, international relations, or similar.
Language Skills: Advanced English 
Experience: previous government affairs experience, knowledge of budget and initiatives for access, management of initiatives, funding, relationship with Stakeholders,
