MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityandthree (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.
A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
Professional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Requires possession of a valid class E driver license.

JOB DUTIES:
This position requires independent and innovative judgment. This position recommends operational policies and assists in the establishment of procedures, as required, to implement policies, achieve operational objectives or resolve operational problems.
Primary position that manages, directs, plans, organizes and participates in all general business, accounting and budget activities relating to the Forest Management grants. Performs all fiscal, purchasing, statistical reporting and other major office functions for these grant budgets. Assists with the development of program materials necessary for all federal and state grants and other matching programs and keeps track of all fiscal year allotments. Keeps abreast of changes in grant programs and completes and processes grant applications for state forest planning and other forest management issues.
Maintains accurate encumbrance records and processes payments of invoices for all the Forest Management bureau grants. Provides for accounting of receipts, purchasing, invoices, travel vouchers, encumbrance records, requisitions, budget reports and reconciliation of Detail Disbursements Reports. Responsible for processing monthly budget and expense reports for all appropriate grants. Interprets and ensures division and departmental compliance with statutory and federal requirements and agency rules and regulations.
Performs other related duties and special assignments.
